Turkey Bowls

Simple recipes are my friend. With school, work and the pup, any quick and easy recipes are my go to. I came up with this recipe the other night while wanting to make minimal mess, it’s easy and delicious!


Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey thigh
1 bunch asparagus
1-2 sweet potatoes (mine are white, sweet potatoes)
Your favorite spices, I recommend garlic, salt, pepper and paprika.

Method:
Brown the turkey in a pan with olive oil or butter
While this is cooking, chop the potatoes and asparagus into bite sized pieces
Once the turkey is cooked, set aside in a bowl
Brown the potatoes in the same pan
Once they are starting to get soft, add the asparagus and cook until almost soft
Add the turkey back in the pan and mix everything together
Add spices and cook for another 5 minutes until done
Now eat!
