Blue Vanilla Magik Balls

Hey there friends!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, school and my finals nearly killed me… but I’m back! And I’m back with blue balls! 😂 Seriously though, these will be the best blue balls you’ll ever have. HAHA! Ok I’m done!

I’ve been starting to theme my Instagram with main colors for a few weeks at a time and I’m spotlighting blue right now! This means all the berries and spirulina!

For these babies I wanted a snack I could take for the road that also looked pretty enough to serve to some friends. I’m also a huge fan of vanilla. I have no idea why but I LOVE vanilla, the smell and flavor, I’ve literally sprayed vanilla extract on me. So these are vanilla flavored and contain cashew butter, it’s literally like a vanilla shortbread cookie!

The blue in the icing comes from blue spirulina! It’s a little, ok, a lot pricey but it’s packed with antioxidants and helps detox metals from the body. Best icing perks ever!

You don’t have to use the icing, or you can even use it on other treats like pancakes or smoothie bowls!

Here’s the recipe!

Vanilla Blue Magik Balls

  • Servings: 12 balls
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients:

For the Magik Balls

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup dried shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 3 dates
  • 1/2 cup cashew butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp Sun Potion mucuna puriens (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Sun Potion tocos (optional, you can add 2 tbsp extra almond flour if you don’t have it)

For the Blue Icing

  • 2 tbsp coconut butter/manna
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 capsule blue majik

Method:

For the Magik Balls

  • Combine all ingredients for the balls in a food processor. Process it until it’s nice and smooth!
  • Scoop out the batter by overfilling a tablespoon by just a little
  • Roll into a ball and put into a flat plate or dish
  • Repeat until they’re all formed, it should make 12 total

For the Blue Icing

  • Melt the coconut butter and coconut oil together in a pot or microwave.
  • Once they are liquid, wisk them together until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the capsule of Blue Majik spirulina and stir, stir, stir! Until it’s beautiful and blue!
  • Now let the mixture cool until it thickens up just a little bit and then drizzle it by the spoonful over the balls!

I hope you guys absolutely LOVE my balls! 😅 I really wish I could think of a better name for these but you will just have to call them balls too. I thought of Raw Balls but that sounds worse, low carb fat globs isn’t catchy, and blue macaroons isn’t really what they are.

They’re a great snack on the go, have so many good fats and are gluten free/dairy free of course!

Let me know what you think in the comments or on Instagram!
